Many women views the retirement as time to relax less activities, restaurant meals. Retirement is another stage in your life. Less physical activities and restaurant meals lead to weight gain and potential risk of heart problems to early "golden" years.

Cardiologists suggest, that lifestyle has a direct link to heart disease. Maintaining healthy weight, quit smoking, reducing calories and increasing physical activates can prevent heart problems in older adults.

If people become less active after retirement, they need less calories as well. Overeating can cause rapid weight gain, developing diabetes, high blood pressure and eventually risk of developing heart problems.

People with family history of heart problems, heart attack or stroke should be extremely caution and proactive. Simple low impact exercise, like walking, swimming, yoga can straighten your heart and prevent heart problems. Everyone has to know their limitations. Too much exercise or sudden increase in physical activates can be harmful to your health. Always use common since and know your body limitations, when start exercising. People say they do not have time for exercise. It is all about choices.
